Class Description This class is designed to hone your assisting skills and give you information about what goes on in the Inner Knowing (IK) course room. ATC is a prerequisite for all assistants in the Inner Knowing Courses. If you plan to assist in a given month - you must attend the ATC for that month. If you have taken IK, you may attend any ATC, even if you are not assisting in the IK course that month (just for education and connection).
For
assistants who live outside of Atlanta: We suggest that IK assistants stay where you can get a good, quiet night's sleep during the course. Please see our accomodations page for a listing of the many hotels in close proximity to the Center (several are within walking distance). If you choose not to stay at one of these hotels, please check with people from other courses you have participated in for other options, as the Center does not arrange housing for students or Assistants. Assistant Review Class [ARC] Class Description We value you as learners, and we know you are up to a great movement in yourselves and your lives. So we have designed another opportunity to provide a great platform for you and aid you in your learning. The post-IK class called ARC (Assistant Review Class) is an optional learning experience coupled with assisting. ARC will be a 3-4 hour class offered directly after an IK weekend open to all who assisted in that month's IK (it is included in your assistant tuition). It is our intention that the ARC class be a resource for you to unwind/debrief what you saw, felt, and experienced in the weekend. Witnessing leads to more space to be able to self-reflect and have compassion for the self and others. We know that the IK experience is profound and goes by very quickly. Even the smallest trigger in an IK course can open up immense movements in the unconscious. You have made an investment in the IK weekend and this is an enhancement to get the most insight into yourself. Living past the emotional triggers/reactions and into the heart is what the assisting experience is about. Support for being able to do that in our lives is how we take the experience into awareness. We all want to live heart-centered lives. This one is for you - your nurturance and understanding of what occurs deeply within you. The IK experience is like reading a book of your own unconscious. The ability to have energy support and guidance in reading that book, makes sure that your understanding is deepened. |
